Handprint Cutouts
These hand cutouts are perfect for crafting! The package contains 48 hand cutouts - 12 each in yellow, blue, red and green. There are 24 sheets with 2 hands on each sheet. You just punch them out of the paper and dispose of the extra paper. The hands are on colored card stock and they are pretty durable. I didn't have any problem removing them from the punch lines and am pleased with the weight of the paper. The colors are bright, vibrant and on both sides of the paper, which is great! They work well for decorating, crafts, or whatever you need them for.
There is an idea guide included inside, but I picked these up because I already had an idea in mind. We attached them to a popsicle stick and decorated them so that each child could give himself/herself or a friend a high-5. It is a good way to give yourself a little bit of motivation and encouragement, but you are not passing any germs on by touching hands. There are so many ways you can use these hands - they make great turkeys, angel wings, link them together for hugs, etc. This is a fun way to make something with a group of kids and is a big timesaver because you don't have to cut them out yourself!
I like the precut hands. Perfect for arts and crafts. No need for tracing.
These precut hands make fun projects easy and fast to set up.
These American-made cutouts are made of strong construction paper with vibrant colors. The set includes 48 handprints; more than enough for two projects (if you have a large classroom). The cutouts are double-sided, which makes it convenient for projects that need to be mirrored.
These punch-out hand outlines are perfect for my wife's role as a teacher's assistant for the deaf. These can be used for all sorts of crafts at the school and are particularly great for kids who "speak" with their hands. Love 'em.
I have been looking for hand-shaped punchouts for a while. As a religious education instructor for young children, I can say there is insufficient classtime to help each student to trace his or her hand and cut it from paper. This handprint cutout set is a real timesaver and is perfect for many projects I plan to complete with my young students.
The colors are all vibrant and include yellow, blue, red, and green. The shapes are easy to punch out without tearing because they are properly scored. The handprints are plentiful, totaling 48. The kit includes a secular idea guide for ways to use them, although I already have specific, religious-based ideas in mind that include: 1) teaching children the five-finger prayer method espoused by Pope Francis; 2) using the handprints as angel wings to make Christmas tree toppers; and 3) making hearts (by touching together the thumbs and index fingers of opposing hands) that symbolize the importance of living a life of brotherly love, as taught by Jesus Christ. There are also many secular uses that make them perfect for any classroom of young pupils.
I love the fact that the cutouts are made In USA and support American jobs. They are acid-free and conform to sound product safety standards. They are produced with 65 lb. cardstock. The cutouts are lignin-free, which means they won't break down over time. I highly recommend this product.
